Do you offer free estimates?
Yes. We provide free on-site estimates for gutter installation, repair, guards and cleaning anywhere in our service area. You receive a written price with sizes, materials and colors, with no obligation.
How quickly can you start my project?
Many clients receive a same-day or next-day estimate. Installations are typically scheduled within one to two weeks; repairs and storm damage are prioritized. Weather is the only thing that moves a date.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. Haus Prime is a licensed New Jersey home improvement contractor and carries liability insurance, so your property and project are protected from start to finish.
Do you work with HOAs and property managers?
Regularly. We provide the documentation, color samples and insurance certificates approvals require, and we coordinate scheduling with management.
What happens during an on-site estimate?
We measure every run of roof edge, count the corners, check the fascia behind the existing gutters and look at where the water discharges today. You get the price in writing before we leave, with sizes, colors and downspout positions on it. Most homes take about half an hour.
What does your workmanship warranty cover?
The work we performed: seams we sealed, hangers we set, pitch we adjusted. If one of those fails, we come back and fix it. Materials carry their manufacturer finish warranty separately. The terms sit on your written estimate, so you read them before you sign.
Installation
Why choose seamless gutters?
Seamless gutters are formed on site from a single coil to the exact length of each run, so there are no joints every ten feet to leak or snag debris. They last longer, look cleaner and need less maintenance than sectional gutters.
Do I need 5-inch or 6-inch gutters?
Five-inch K-style gutters handle most homes. We recommend 6-inch for large or steep roofs, metal roofs, and long valleys that concentrate water; a 6-inch gutter carries roughly 40% more.
How much does gutter installation cost in NJ?
It depends on total linear feet, gutter size and profile (5" or 6" K-style, or half round), material (aluminum or copper), roof height and access, and any fascia repair or guards added at the same time. We measure in person and confirm the price in writing after a free on-site visit.
How long does installation take?
Most homes are completed in one day, including removal and haul-away of the old system.
Do you remove and dispose of the old gutters?
Yes. The old system comes down, goes on the truck and leaves with us at the end of the day. We also run a magnet over the lawn and the beds for the spikes and screws that drop during removal.
Gutter guards
How do gutter guards work?
Guards cover the open gutter with mesh or perforated aluminum that lets water in and keeps leaves, needles and seeds out. Debris dries on top and blows away while rain flows through to the downspout.
Which guard is best for my trees?
Micro-mesh for pines, maples and heavily wooded lots, because it stops needles and seeds. Perforated aluminum covers are a lower-cost option where large oak leaves are the main debris.
What do gutter guards cost?
Pricing depends on the guard type (screens, perforated covers or micro-mesh), total linear feet, gutter size and roof access. We confirm it in writing after a free on-site visit. Installing guards at the same time as new gutters is the most economical option.
Cleaning and maintenance
How often should gutters be cleaned in New Jersey?
Twice a year for most homes: late fall after leaf drop and spring after seeds and pollen. Homes under pines may need a third visit; homes with micro-mesh guards can go years between cleanings.
What does gutter cleaning cost?
It depends on the number of stories, roof pitch, total linear feet, downspouts and how much debris has built up. We confirm the price in writing before the visit; seasonal plans with two scheduled visits a year are discounted.
What causes gutters to overflow when they aren’t clogged?
Lost pitch, undersized outlets or downspouts, or an inside corner that concentrates water. Each is a straightforward repair once diagnosed.
How far ahead should I book a fall cleaning?
Two to three weeks in November, because most of central New Jersey books at once. The last oak leaves usually come down in the final week of the month, so a visit scheduled before that leaves you with a gutter that fills again in December.

Do you handle storm damage on short notice?
Storm and ice damage goes to the front of the schedule. After a nor’easter we are usually on site within one to two business days, weather permitting, to re-hang what pulled loose and replace sections bent past repair.
